Description: The Hunger Action Network event - Fork it Over to Help End Hunger - is on May 22, 2012 at the Egg from 5:30-7:30 pm (although it may be extended another hour, we'll see). It is to raise money for the organization but also to commerate their 30th anniversary. They are expecting 100+ guests (tickets are $50). Special guests will include Frank Morrow who works with Fiscal Fairness, and congressman Paul Tonko. There will be a stipend to help cover our costs although we haven't worked out the exact amount yet. The event on our side will be very much the way Spring Deliverance at St. Joseph's was - chefs and their stations, a bar, Chip's art displays and live music.

Description: Chef’s Consortium participate in our food tastings, along with more than 30 other fine
Columbia and Berkshire County restaurants and food purveyors.

Saturday, June 2, from 5:30 to 7:30pm.

The evening will also include wine and soft drinks, a performance by Carl Ritchie and his troupe, and a silent and a live auction. Proceeds will enhance and support the Library’s programs, including our children’s activities, lectures and concerts at our beautiful new building, which is in eastern Columbia County, and serves the towns of Hillsdale, Copake and Ancram.

Following are some of the event details:
• Estimated attendance: Approximately 300 guests
• Ticket price: $100 per person, $175 for two
• Theatrical performance by Carl Ritchie’s troupe
• Live auction, moderated by Louis Carapreso, to include goods, services,
antiques, tickets to special events, etc.

We are excited to offer sponsors the following publicity leading up to and during the
event:
• Inclusion in ongoing slideshow/Virtual Journal during event and online on the
Library website for 12 months
