Bannerman’s Island, Beacon, NY – On September 8, 2018, Chefs’ Consortium celebrates its ninth annual five-course farm-to-table dinner in Helen Bannerman’s garden among the historic ruins of Bannerman’s Castle on Bannerman’s Island. Come enjoy the all-star talents of some of the Hudson Valley and Capital Region’s finest chefs, who will prepare five courses of farm-fresh cuisine with locally and regionally sourced ingredients. There will be two seatings for this special culinary experience. Guests will also be treated to a tour of the island and the breathtaking historic ruins that are now more than a century old. Tickets are $130 per person. Proceeds will benefit the Bannerman’s Island Trust, working tirelessly to preserve one of New York’s most beautiful historic structures. The Pollepel luxury barge will take guests on the first seating from Beacon Landing at 3:00 and will arrive at the island at 3:30. The meal will commence at 3:45 and end at 4:45. Guests on the second seating depart from Beacon Landing at 4:15 and will arrive at the island at 4:45. Dinner service for the second seating is from 5:00-6:00. Both seatings will include a tour of the island.
