Calling all chefs and lovers of cassoulet! Chefs’ Consortium is teaming up with Consortium chef Jimmy Carbone again for the Eleventh Annual Cassoulet Cook-off at Biba in Williamsburg. On Saturday, January 26th from 1-4 p.m., Jimmy Carbone will host a Cassoulet Salon featuring regional chefs, cookbook authors and cassoulet! This year Consortium chef Jonathan Forgash will be serving up cassoulet crafted with locally and regionally sourced ingredients. The Cassoulet Salon is an educational event where guests can mix and mingle, and sample cassoulet. This year’s event is being co-hosted with writer Lew Bryson, author of Tasting Whiskey, who will curate the whiskeys, and spirits.
